What is Language Immersion?Preschool language immersion programs surround children with a second language for most of the day. Teachers use it for instruction, play, and communication, mimicking how kids learn their first language. This approach is ideal for young learners as it fosters fluency and cognitive development.
-
Does my child need to speak Spanish to enroll? No! Our program is designed for children of all Spanish backgrounds, with a primary focus on developing Spanish as a second language for non Spanish speaking families as well as heritage Spanish speaking families.
-
Is it confusing for children to learn two languages at once? Not at all! Young children have a natural ability to acquire languages. They'll pick up Spanish through everyday play and activities. Young minds are learning sponges, perfect for soaking up two languages. Just like they learn to walk and talk, kids can handle both languages naturally. Plus, research shows bilingualism can even boost memory, problem-solving, and focus!
